The Art of Being at Knowlton Court June Day Retreat

6th June 2026 | 9:00am – 6:00pm

Join us for a deeply nourishing day retreat in the beautiful and serene setting of Knowlton Court. Surrounded by peaceful countryside and held in an atmosphere of warmth and care, this special day is designed to help you slow down, soften, and reconnect with yourself on every level.

Through mindful yoga, meditation, time in nature, creative writing and deeply restorative practice, you will be guided through a gentle and meaningful journey — one that invites both inner stillness and quiet inspiration. Alongside these practices, you will enjoy delicious, nourishing food, space to breathe, and the simple luxury of having time just for you.

Our food will be prepared by Fiona Getgood, our retreat chef, whose cooking is rooted in the belief that simple, wholesome ingredients made with care can be deeply restorative. Her meals are thoughtfully created to feel comforting, balanced, and sustaining, supporting the body without heaviness and allowing you to continue the day feeling clear, grounded, and well.

This retreat is a rare opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life and return to what truly restores you — calm, presence, creativity and connection.

Spaces are limited to keep the day intimate and supportive.
All levels welcome. ✨

Facilitators

Jayne Harman — Deva Yoga

Jayne is the founder of Deva Yoga and brings over 20 years of experience in yoga, meditation, and contemplative practice, along with many years of leading retreats and holding spaces for personal reflection and growth. Her teaching is intuitive, grounded, and heart-led, blending traditional yoga, mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation to support both physical wellbeing and inner calm.

Jayne is known for creating retreats that feel warm, supportive, and deeply nourishing, where students are encouraged to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with themselves without pressure or expectation. On this retreat day, she will guide the morning yoga practice and afternoon restorative session, offering a balance of gentle energy, stillness, and deep relaxation.

Her intention is to hold a space that feels calm, welcoming, and quietly transformative, allowing each person to experience the day in their own way.

Claire is a fully qualified MSc Therapeutic Counsellor, holistic therapist, and creative workshop facilitator who is passionate about supporting others in self-discovery, healing, and personal expression. With a background in bodywork and massage therapy since 2015, her work is rooted in the understanding that the body, mind, and emotions are deeply connected.

Claire brings warmth, empathy, and genuine curiosity to the spaces she holds, creating an environment where people feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings with honesty and openness. She believes creativity can be a powerful way to process experience, gain insight, and reconnect with yourself.

During the retreat, Claire will guide the creative writing workshop, offering gentle prompts and reflective exercises designed to encourage self-expression in a relaxed, supportive, and non-judgemental space.

Together - Jayne and Claire co-host the popular monthly Together New Moon Circles at Deva Yoga, where they create a welcoming and compassionate space for reflection, connection, and shared experience.
