Deva? What does it mean?
Deva is a Sanskrit word meaning 'Heavenly Divine. Anything of excellence'
It is also refers to a Deity, God or simply a Celestial being. Ganesha is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in Hinduism. Commonly known as God of removal of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom, the god of new beginnings. All of which we are hoping to incorporate in Deva Yoga, for you to begin, continue or simply deepen your yoga journey with us.
Here at Deva Yoga, we offer a variety of classes to suit everyone. Being a small, intimate studio in the heart of Chislehurst, our passion is to make yoga available to everyone, young and old, men and women, children and teens. We have small classes, which allows our team of professional and gifted teachers to support, guide and assist you to get the most out of your practice. ‘Yoga really is for everyone’. Incredibly talented teachers made me push myself but even further with fellow classmates.
After coming out of a class, without fail I always get that great feeling and spring in my step the day after.
Never tried yoga before but felt really welcomed. Can’t wait to try another class.
